"Jason, an "ex-New Yorker", is gonna take you to a virtual trip in New York (the 1st half of the meeting)! I'll try to skip what you can find in most of the tour guidance books or where tour groups usually take people to. Oh, wait, I'll let you know where it's NOT worth visiting. I'll talk about what cuisine, particularly non-Asian food, you can find in the Big Apple. For those never been to NYC, I wanna trigger your interest so that you'd book the flight tickets to NYC within a week after the talk. For those who have been there before, I'll do my best to make you feel, "hmmm, I didn't really get the most out of NYC!"

 

The 2nd half of the meeting will be an open discussion about "social relationship with the native speakers". We can talk about our frustration interacting with Americans. We can talk about the tips to make friends with Americans, or adapting into the American culture, or the subject we can initiate so as to carry a long conversation.
